I was wondering if someone could advise me on how to properly install r30 insulation (rolled or blown) on the ceiling of a new addition that is using trusses with 2x4's.
(location is northeastern Ohio if it matters)

I wanted to use blown insulation but wasn't sure how to do it with drywall having to wait until after the insulation inspection.

Thanks

Just blow in cellulose!!

Fiblerglass is an ineffective insulation with many problems.

You will get total coverage and minimize the thermal shorcircuiting caused by the wood. If you are into the old R-value concept cellulose is also better.

Only the pink panther thinks it is better and he gets paid for doing that.
