The distance from the bottom of the window on the 2nd floor to the concrete pad is 13’.
The floor joist is engineered wood
Usually we would not need a ledger for the ceiling we just put the hangers to the rim joist but the LSL rim board is not strong enough for that or even to bolt a ledger to. When we know something will be hung there it is replaced with LVL when built. You may have to get to the manufacture for a ( what to do here)

There is a question and answer here but that is not the same as getting something in writing, I have never had to deal with it myself. More nails could be had by just using hangers taller than required for the joist

How far from the edge of the concrete would you set you 6x6 post? The distance from the edge of the roof to concrete edge is 9.5”

How high are the ceilings inside the house. We would like the ceiling to attach to the rim.
I would put the posts in the center of the footing that way too.
The beam can extend to the the edge of the concrete.

Ceilings are 9’
If you do 9ft the match the over hang then the ceiling material will want to match that overhang.
Making the ceiling just a little lower might make it easier to deal with but the rim joist might be at 9' 5" as you measure from the slab not the top of the floor? The top of the floor will be about 1 1/2" above the bottom of the siding.
It's a tricky one.

To go a little high you might leave that roof but go thru the plywood .

You will have to start at the bottom, loosen the shingles and slip in the step flashing, I have never had to do it so if you have questions best head over to the roofing forum.

The roof looks fab. nice work.
