I am in Central Florida and put two cups of basic Ammonia in a gallon of water. Works okay for me, on lovebugs too.

And then do one such as, "Homemade windshield washer fluid?

 

There is no end to the different ideas when you do a Google search.

 

As a glass cleaner, I like two parts isopropyl alcohol to one part vinegar and one part distilled water. Don't know how it would hold up or function in this instance.

 

I've never done it, but if I did, I bet it would involve Dawn dishwashing soap in some way.

The internet is full of recipes for DIY windshield washer fluid. Does anyone have a good recipe. I live in Florida so I don't worry too much about it freezing. All advice is appreciated.
