Swing-Out / Speciatly Hinge Questions

So, I have this small storage access door in an area that I'd like to creatively cover. Thought about putting a mirror or some artwork on it to make it a bit more palatable to look at...

I am having difficulty coming up with some sort of hinge that would allow the door to be opened that would also allow the mirror or outer panel to clear the door frame that it would cover. I've only been able to find swing-out, or offset hinges that might work (designed to effectively widen a door for wheelchair access), but they seem to put the barrel of the hinge out into the space that would interfere with the mirror.

The attached drawing may help explain my dilema. I'm showing some standoffs placed between the door and the back of the mirror to allow the mirror frame to clear the existing hinge barrel.

The other option I thought about was to have a separate hinge for both the door and the mirror panel, but I would want one to slide in tandem with the other so that I'm only opening one door. I've seen hinges similar to this in Europe, where they have a cabinet panel covering a refrigerator, for example. I have no idea what a hinge like this would be called, so I've not been able to find anything like this.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks, Nealtw. I ran across the Eakes video while searching for solutions. The hinge he demos seems to extend too far over the door frame for my application and still doesn’t appear to provide the clearance I would need. I guess I’d have to try a couple to see.

I was hoping to find something that would effectively allow the door to pop/lift outward, then swing, but I’m not sure anything like that exists.

Well, looking at myself in the mirror would be less palatable to me . . .

Must you keep the existing door slab if it's just an access to storage? Meaning, do you need a full 1 3/8" thick door slab mounted in a typical cased frame when you could just make "the slab" your mirror or artwork? Or remove the entirety completely, I've done "hidden" doors just continuing the drywall. Or you can hide it in a batten-paneled wall finish, many different ideas.

IMO a mirror or artwork would be worse than a door. The mirror probably has no purpose there and both would go to floor, which would be especially weird for artwork.

The one Nealtw showed is known in our area as a swing clear hinge.

Did you ever come up with a solution? I'm looking to do something similar to conceal the small 6x6 furnace room in our finished basement - furnace is high efficiency and gets its air external to the house and is externally vented so we dont need a vented door. See attached screenshot (blurry as it was taken from my walkthrough render) of the full height slat wall I am looking to implement which will conceal the door behind the left piece of artwork. Similar to you I need a swing out clearance type hinge so the slats attached to the door will clear the slats next to the door. The only one I've found so far is $180 per hinge - its the SOSS 518 hinge:
