Benjaminmoore Ultraspec 500 LowSheen, Ben Eggshell, or Regal Select Flat, Matte, Eggshell. Cabinetcoat, Coronado SK5000, advance satin or regal pearl for trim.

 

I've had good results with SuperPaint and Duration, not used much Cashmere. SuperPaint would be my choice of the 3, both on price and how it applies/covers.

 

I've used Duration and Emerald and both pale in comparison to BM Regal/Aura. I would go there if you can.

 

As a long-time SW user, the best paint for the money is SuperPaint. It's really nothing special, but, it's a workhorse type of paint. Covers well in 2 coats and is very durable. I've painted my own living room just twice in the 25 years I've lived in my home. Each time I used SuperPaint and am more than pleased with how it looks and holds up to wear and tear. Cashmere is my second favorite SW paint. It goes on buttery smooth. The downside to Cashmere is that the sheens are off a bit. Low-lustre is more like a Semi-gloss and Pearl is like Satin. I imagine the flat would have just a slight bit of sheen to it.

Duration is nothing special for the price you pay. Emerald is pretty good, better than Duration IMO, but too pricey for me to use very often. Had great success with the Emerald Flat (Matte). Has just a slight sheen to it but covers very well.

 

I use a lot of SuperPaint, but it doesn't have the antimicrobial properties like Duration. I use Duration in bathrooms. If the basement might be damp and moldy, you might want that. Emerald is stupidly expensive. I think I only used it on walls once or twice. I do like the Emerald trim enamel, though.

 

It's best to use a bath paint in a bath rm if it has a shower. Bath paints are formulated for the harsher environment of a steamy bath rm. Latex enamel is bare minimum, bath paint is superior.

 

As per my experience you can go with SuperPaint.and also it is durable.

 

Emerald is SW's answer to Aura.

Emerald is over priced watered down duration. For the same money, skip the Emerald and get Aura...

Duration is a high build paint, so take that into account as well. I personally wouldnt call super paint a 'premium paint' is more of a meh paint in my opinion... cashmere is nice stuff, but as otheres have stated you have to becareful with your sheen selection...

And regal from BM is great as well, tho for the money buy duration lol
