My husband has cut off the dry rot. Now, he wants to know how to miter the corners for the eaves. The fascia slants towards the house and goes around the corner! The books we have gotten from the library and his father's old carpentry manuals do not address this. Ellen

When you say that the fascia slants towards the house, I think you are saying that the fascia doesn't sit plumb (similar to crown molding). If that's the case, you need to find out what that angle is and make compound miter cuts. If you have a compound miter saw, set the horizontal bevel at 45 (assuming you are running around a 90 degree corner) and set the vertical bevel for the out of plumb angle. You'll have to reverse the bevels at inside and outside corners.
