Need recommendation for a decent clamp meter

I would like some recommendations for a decent reliable digital clamp meter. The cheap one I have recently broke.

I would like something better than the $15 CEN-TECH "Chinesium" from Harbor Freight, but not as cost prohibitive as the $260 "True RMS" Fluke. Somewhere around $45-$60 would be my sweet spot, and I am not against getting a used one from ebay.

I bought this one 3 yrs ago, no problems to date, but I only use it occasionally.
It will check capacitors as well, mfd. Although you don't need it.
There is a newer version, actually cheaper now.

Do you have a multimeter? In many cases you can buy just the clamp and use your multimeter for the display. This is only a suggestion. This clamp is not cheap. But it does plug into your multimeter. They make them lose lead so they can be used with most any meter that reads voltage.

What you buy depends more on what you will be using if for.
Everyday use as a tech, you need a better device.
Occasional use, get what you can afford.
Personally I would rather have a couple of inexpensive ones rather than an expensive one.
But I like to keep a "go bag" with everything I need and have a spare at home with other needed tools.
Just my opinion.

I agree to a point. Its not likely he will buy a $500 clamp to use around the house. But buying cheap is not a good idea either. When I retired I no longer had a amp clamp. So I needed one a couple times and ended up buying a fair brand for about $100. I hate it. Its a piece of ****.
I was using it on a pool pump motor and I was getting aggravated. So the neighbor showed me his clamp. It was an old timey analog type clamp. It worked fantastic. No worry about digital setup. Open clamp around wire, take reading. I cannot remember the type it was. I know I looked for one and I could not find it. I do know it was popular in commercial and industrial applications before digital came out.

Oh I did find it, but it is discontinued.https://www.grainger.com/product/AMPROBE-Analog-Clamp-On-Ammeter-1T003
Its great for around home or even in a plant.

I had one but I had not seen it in years. When I was working I had an expensive Fluke clamp. It was at least $600. It measured DC & AC current to 1000 amps.
I saw the Amprobe on Ebay for under $20. But its used. I was afraid to buy it. I don't really need it anyway.......lol Until I do.
