Mobile home roof ice build up

I have a 1970 Mobile Home and live in a area where it is cold and a lot of snow and ice. We always hve ice buildup on the mobile home. we were wondering if it would be possible to put a roof heat tape on to prevent ice buildup.
Any help would be apprecated.:thumbup:

Roof heat tape sounds like a very bad idea to me. LOL it really does.

Roof rake and the sun would be your best option. this is s a single wide trailer correct?

Single Thanks anyway. Racking is a little hard for us we are almost 70 yeaars old. But thanks anyway. Any other ideas.:whistling2:

Heat tape is a good way to avoid the build up of ice on a trailer roof.
What works better over the long term is having a roof truss system installed over the top of the existing one.
