Matching Fans & Light Fixtures

I have taken all of the insulation out of my attic to make some upgrades up there. While I'm at it, nows a great time to install all new light fixtures and ceiling fans. I've picked out what I want was far as switch locations, fan and light locations.

But what I need to do now is pick the actual fixtures. It sounds silly but, I go to Lowes and everything is so high up, you can't really take a good look at them. Plus all fans kind of look the same to me. So I'm looking for suggestions. I'm hoping they make these things in matching product lines? I need low profile fans with light fixtures built in. And I'd like matching stand-alone light fixtures. Ideally, with different sized light fixtures so I could get 2 bulbs in some, 3 in some others. And maybe some 4 blade fans and some 5 blade.

In all, i'm going to have 6 ceiling fans, all with light fixtures built in. Then two matching light fixtures in the hallway, and two more matching fixtures in the bathroom.

The more things you put on your list, the less likely you are to find perfect matches.

Hunter Fans sells what they call dual use light kits. They can be either mounted on a fan or as a ceiling fixture. But do not expect to have choice in the number of bulbs per fixture.

Even though they are identical, some persnickety matchers complain they look different. Yes, one is a semi flush on the ceiling, the other is hanging on a fan.

There may be other mfgs that also sell dual use, but you won't find their stuff in stock at a big box. Sea Gull lighting used to sell fixtures that matched some of their fan lights. Last I knew, Lowes had a Sea Gull catalog at the lighting desk and you could special order.

Why would you want a choice in number of blades ? With five blades the fans move more air than a 4 blade and do it with less blade noise.
