Lutron Dimmers and MR16s

I have MR16 light bulbs around most of my house. Otherwise I have the standard light bulbs (not sure what they are called, it's your typical screw in bulb).

I am installing lutron dimmers, and specifically purchased the one for incandescent halogen bulbs (600w). Would these work for the MR16s? Or do I need to get the (much more expensive) dimmers for low voltage or magnetic voltage (not even exactly sure what they are called).

SO basically, are MR16 bulbs (with the two pin connectors) deemed an incandescent halogen?

If you pull the bulb out and detach the can from the fixture you should get a good view of the ballast from there. All info will be on the ballast.

For what it's worth attached are pictures of the inside of the can. Do I need to pull out the can entirely to find out this info? The sticket on the inside reads: input "120vt 60hz ac" It also is labeled LV 4000b. THe outron switch I bought reads 120v~ 60hz (incandescent/halogen). Seems like I should be good, but I don't want to burn the house down!

If you detach the can then you'll see the ballast type. If you hook the dimmer worst thing that will happen is the bulbs won't dim right.
