OK maybe call me stupid but I just want to confirm use of this device. When I bought it I was assuming that the title on the box meant that it can be used as either a pair of regular switches (it is a duplex switch) OR 3-way switches. Am I correct on this? I don't need 3-way, just two standard switches.

The wiring instructions focus on the three way set up so I just want to make sure. Assuming grounds and nuetrals are all connected properly I connect my "Line" to one of the two black screws (jumper still connected) and the two separate "Loads" to the gold screws on other side. My best guess based on the diagram is loads on "A1" and "B1"?

So what are you doing exactly? Do you have 1 switch box and 2 switch legs to control from 1 switch device?
The decora switch shown (a 3 way switch) cannot be used for 2 independent single pole switches.
You guys seem to be giving me opposite answers. As a DIY'r I may not be providing the right terminology.
My intention is to have a single gang box be able to operate two separate lights (one is dining room overhead and one is bar top pendants). So I need a single "Line" feed to supply power to the two switches on this device and each switch operates one of the two lights independently as if I had two side by side switches in a 2-gang box.

The Decora Switch shown is a "3-way switch" AND a "switch". I read this to mean it could be used either way.
