How to install trim around stair treads

We recently purchased a home that had some renovations done to it.
drywall was installed on the stairwell walls and they cut around the stair treads so now there is a gap where the drywall and stairs meet.
Also the bullnose is rounded so unsure as to how to cut molding to go around this and it still look good. Some of the gaps are pretty big so cauking is not an option. Any Ideas on what to do?

I don't know why you would have the drywall wrapped around the treads and risers. The treads and risers are in a stringer, why wasn't the wallboard brought down to that? Then you install a molding to cover the stringer wallboard interface.
