based on some previous help from this forum Im applying a water based PolyUrethane to my cabinet doors, Im curious whats the best way to apply this to both sides of a door without getting runs. Is it possible to lay flat and do front and sides and then afterwards do the back seperately? Im afraid this might create uneven finishes on sides? or would it be best to hang the door in a way so i can apply the poly on all sides, however this won't allow the self leveling to work? any advice is appreciated

Having worked in a Cabinet shop in the past, lay the door flat and put a single (heavy) coat on the back. When that surface is dry, flip it over and apply the required number of coats to the front and edges.
Doing the back first avoids handling while the front surface is soft.

Apply with a foam brush or roller, depending on the profile. Might need both.

I use a microfiber roller as well, but, I use it just to get lots of poly onto the doors in short order. I then back brush what was rolled. The reason? I seem to get those pinhole bubbles if I roll it and just leave it. Might be that I'm rolling it on too fast, getting in a hurry.......
