I have a toilet. There are many like it, but this one is mine. The fill valve is broken (the plastic clasps in the base have snapped). I know how to change the fill valve in a normal toilet, but this toilet has decided to hide everything...
I can't get my hands or a tool on the water supply nut. I can't get my hands or a tool on the toilet tank nuts in order to separate the pieces. I'm happy to call a plumber, but I don't want her to come over and tell me the toilet has to come out to replace the fill valve. I'd sooner replace the entire toilet.
Is there some trick I don't know about?
