Door casing for remodel

I replaced all the interior doors in my house during the remodeling process. Installed new prehung doors, and now it's time for the door casing. I always struggle with aligning the miter joint. I’ve done the traditional method before, nailing piece by piece. Due to the old house's uneven walls, the miter joint wasn’t perfect. I tried assembling the casing first and it came out perfect, but it takes too long for Titebond to dry. I experimented with using super glue (basically CA glue without an activator spray) on the outer edges and Titebond in the middle, but there wasn't enough surface area for the CA glue to instantly grab. I believe if I use only CA glue for the entire surface, it should grip, but I've heard it doesn't provide long-term bonding, and people don't recommend it. Any tips on achieving a perfect miter joint with some time efficiancy?
