Hi - I have a vertical section of drywall which ends at floor level of a loft space. This "raw" edge is crumbling badly. There are just loose plaster pieces rolling around inside the top of this edge.
I am using 2" x 2" steel angle "iron" as coping/edging at this floor/wall transition but I need to repair the damaged section because it extends beyond the steel angle iron.
The first pic shows extent of damage; The second pic shows with edging in place.
Any thoughts?
