Crown Moulding question - design

Hi there,
I'm about to put up some crown moulding in my upstairs hallway but because of the position of the stairs it will be too hard to put crown up all around. I hope these pictures give you a general idea of the space I'm working with. If I put up crown, it would only be on the walls that are currently painted blue. Would that look ok, or would it look strange if it does not continue all around?
Any and all help is really appreciated.

The only houses that I have ever seen crown in an upstairs hall are old historic homes.If you want it go for it.I don't see anything that would be difficult.Just a lot of 90 degree inside and outside corners.I would do it all or none for sure.

I would do all or none. But personally I wouldn't be fussing over crown upstairs. Unless you are concerned with what is visible from the bottom of the stairs.
