I am painting outside and I end up with weird little tree things in the paint cup that have fallen from the air. I am wondering what I can use as a paint strainer so that when I pour the remaining paint back in the 1 gal bucket that foreign stuff is filtered out.
I've been using those stretchy net things that come on the tops of a pint container of strawberries from the the market and I dispose after each use. I can't find a pic on google. I'm out of those net things now and the elastic isn't good enough to really keep it on the pail anyway.
I don't need like micron filtering just general crud. Home Depot charges like $1 for each elastic paint strainer. That just seems like a lot I figured someone here must have come up with something DIY cheaper and better than what I used to strain paint. I also have some 1 quart buckets I'd like to strain.
