I made an Easy quick apple pie with store bought Aldi frozen pie crust.
I learned from my grandson Joe to grate the cold butter with a cheese grater.👍
Funny Story….when he was little he asked for a spatular for Christmas…when he got the spatular he said to his mother…”now I don’t want you to put this in the dishwasher, you must hand wash it”… if you don’t want to hand wash it, leave it in the sink and I’ll wash it later …hence, his brothers nicknamed him
…“ Runs with Spatular” the original recipe is in with the pics. Below is the changes that I made to the recipe.

Apple Crumble Pie. ( my changes)
1 pie crust
5 cups Granny Smith Apples - sliced thickish
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Topping :
1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar - plus 2 TBL sugar
7 TBL unsalted butter
1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/2 tsp vanilla
Grease pie plate and put cut apples in….sprinkle
In a bowl mix together 1/4 cup light brown sugar and 1/4 cup
White sugar a 1 tsp cinnamon…sprinkle over the apples

In a bowl place flour, sugar, vanilla and grate cold butter with
Cheese grater then use pastry cutter…lastly mix thoroughly with
Your hands…place crumbs over the Apples. Bake @ 400° for 40 minutes.
