Was at Lowes at saw these interesting blades made by Spyder. Anyone ever tried them? Do they work "better"?

This one supposed to cut concrete blocks and bricks square and straight. $40!!!

This one has teeth all the way around including the tip. Gimmicky or useful? At least you can to use the blade on both sides so "DOUBLE LIFE"?

It's an old thread, but I have new information so I thought I would bump it.

I ordered one of the TUNGSTEN CARBIDE blades, and tried it on a concrete block, I have a 12X12X8 hollow concrete block and I wanted to cut it to 12X12X5. Used this concrete saw blade and I cut it at an angle (instead of trying to cut the entire 12" side at the same time), and while it does cut, it cuts extremely slowly, and about 10 minutes in, I got about an inch deep at two corners, I don't think I can complete the cut if I go at it for another 30 minutes. The video above showed really fast and smooth cut, may be they had really weak and soft concrete?

Took out the angle grinder with a diamond blade, and 3.5 minutes later the cut was done and I had a cold beer in my hand, cement dust on my face despite wearing glasses and mask.
