Waterproofing a-- soon to be built-- Deck

I have started work on my new 60'x app. 14' Deck. I plan to seal (waterproof) the underside of the deck boards.
I don't really know what to call this type deck constructions and I would like some suggestions and ideas.
I want a nice looking deck that I can place lawnmower, utility trailer, and other items under without a water problem.
I owned a home, a few years ago, that I mounted clear fiberglass roofing to the underside of the floor joist and allowed slope for drainage. It worked very well but was not attractive.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Would think that would be similiar to seeing the balconies on homes. If you want it to be a bit more attractive, build it down at the bottom, incorporate it together such as a roof, and be able to have the proper drain, even a gutter, and go from there. Is how I have done it with Balconies anyways.

Be sure to leave egress for any basement windows...
