The dryers are typically spec'd for a certain "effective" pipe length (typically 25'). You definitely should not exceed this. Each bend and any sections of flexible duct increase the effective length over the straight linear distance.

Also, be careful where the stuff gets exhausted. The output is very humid and if you dump it out under a deck you may cause problems in the vicinity of the vent. (Been there, done that).
