Im guessing this is a fairly common issue. Im wondering what options are out there for sump pump water discharge lines that are freezing up. - My outside part freezes up every winter. Last night was the first time it froze up inside. Right near the extra, but inside none the less.
This was the sump pump system that was here when i moved in.
Top of the inside portion. Right around that black pipe portion was where it froze last night.
Outside part of that black line. That has often froze.
Thats a thin black plastic line that attaches to the white part at the end of the pump line so it can direct the water away from the foundation. Very thin and always freezes if theirs water left in the line.
(Side question; anyone have any idea what that big white pip in the ground is? It goes down a decent bit. I cant see the bottom but there is a big bush right above it making it hard to see.)

Ayuh,..... With enough pitch in the pipes, the water flows through so fast, it Can't freeze,......
Yer pipes need more downhill pitch,.....

To fix yer's, I'd start inside, 'n shorten that wire holdin' the white pipe, up as high as the black pipe through the concrete will allow,.....
That'll give it the Maximum pitch available, fairly easily,....

Outside, Rip that ole chunk of white hose outa the black pipe, that's a dam, holdin' back abit of water, causin' a restriction,...

The black corrugated pipe, appears it'll slip right over the black plastic comin' outa the house, so slip it as far over the smooth pipe as far as possible, 'n secure it there,....
(Edit: didn't see the later pictures,.. Get rid of the corrugated pipe, 'n slip that big white pvc right over the smooth black plastic pipe, 'n let 'er rip)
Take the other end of the corrugated down the steepest drop possible to where ever the water's gotta go,....
If set at a continuous drop, it will Not Freeze,.....

Oh,.... Then go back, 'n caulk up the hole in the concrete where the pipe goes through,.....
'n no idea what the big white pipe is,..... get a flashlight, 'n look,.....
