What is that?

there sure is. use pvc pipe and see that it drains down.

its a cleanout for your sewer pipe. if you get a clog, they have access there. i would put a cap on it.

is there a certian kind of pvc that will attach to this plastic peace?



For the sump pump sytem or an actual sewer? Just wanted to clarify. It it only a few feet away from where the sump pump is inside... and im on a septic system on a different side of the house. So im guessing sump..

idk. i would enlarge the hole in the wall and make it all pvc. which is what i did with mine.

ok then. it is probably an underground drain for your sump. which most likely would be of no use in the winter, but if it went below the frost line ?

Im not sure how an underground drain would work with a sump pump. Wouldnt one require more underground piping to take it away form the house foundation?

something like this. now, what someone did in the past, who knows.

raise the pump a little. or, that wire hanger, move it to the end of the pvc so that it makes it high enough to make the black pipe flow down into the wall. then get whatever to raise the black pipe outside to be higher than the brick it going over.
