I found stray voltage coming off the ground in the 12-2 UF wire, that is fed underground to my garage. There is no sub-panel. There is a fuse box in the garage and everything is disconnected. Its roughly 85' from the main panel to the garage. I have a garage door opener (5 amps), some lights, and occasionally I use a table saw (13 amps).
So now that it has to be replaced , do I need to consider a 60 amp sub-panel or will another UF wire be ok.
