after repairing the pits, you could install an epoxy coating,,, OR park outside in the winter :yes: no one ( few ! ) wants to sit idly by & allow damage to occur when its fairly easy to prevent it

I believe if your in Minnesota in the Winter, you say, screw the concrete, I'm parking in the garage.
People park in Winter states all the time and they never, "then repair/replace in a few years?". There is not one garage floor in one of my customers houses that have been replaced due to salt issues. These houses were built from 1935- 1960's.

Try power washing the floor and putting a couple of coats of concrete sealer in it.
