I have a skylight in my kitchen. During the summer the sun beat down on my refrigerator. I am worried that it might heat up the refrigerator having direct sun on it for several hours during the peak heat.
I want to install a skylight shade but not sure if the shade goes near the glass or can I install one closer to the kitchen ceiling? I was not sure if there is wood around the opening (behind the drywall) where I can attach the shade frame. Thanks.
