I have 2x4 rafters in my 100 year old house. They are just shy of 10ft. There’s a couple with cracks. I’m currently assessing how many I need to repair. I plan on sistering in 2x6s. My problem is I can’t swing in a full length 2x6 up to next to the existing rafter. There’s just not enough space. What are my options here?
