Side Mount Battery Disconnect Switch?

Interesting.... I've never seen that. I would not think it's going to bother the battery terminal.... but as others have noted above,,,, I would think a trickle charger would be a better idea... and easier... and likely cheaper.

Do you have to lift the hood every time. Guess your car ECU is not affected.

(My former BMW 528 was known to have high drain after you shut it off... I have no idea what it was doing for 10-15 minutes untill I heard it finally shut off. It was not a parsitic drain, and it only was an issue if we were using the car for very short intervals. The battery was in the trunk, and I had to wire a convenient set-up for an easy accesable connection. Had to replace the clamps on the charger with a polorized plug so my wife would not reverse polarity of the charger.)

I never knew of, or thought of, SARGES set up above.
