I would not use drywall. I would use some type of paneling or moisture resistant material. In constant temperature swings drywall will not hold up good. You can save alot of money by using foam panels for insulation.
 
I would look into a battery bank set up for lighting and 120v outlets. This would involve Heavy Duty battery charger and inverter. Running a generator for a 60 watt light bulb or small led tv is dumb. You can even use your car or truck to change the batteries and not need a generator.
When the power goes out I park my truck next to window and run lamps tv computer with an inverter using trucks battery. Inverter beeps to let me know truck battery is getting low and I start it up for 15 mins to charge the batter it even runs my fridge when truck is running. Battery lasts 2-4 hours with a light,tv, and laptop charging.
