I am going to install 2 1/4 solid oak in a small bedroom. It is unstained and I will have a stain mixed to match the hardwood already in the hallway. That hardwood is not made anymore.
Room is approximately 11 feet by 11 feet. I know I can rent a drum sander but I plan on doing this as I have time over several days.
Could I use a powered drywall sander? The kind that is round and about 9 inches in diameter and sands circularly?(Not random orbit).
Could I use that and then go over with a hand random orbital sander before stain and top coat?
