I have a wall around my hearth that is wood paneled. The rest of the walls in the room are all orange peel textured drywall. This is the original mid-60s construction as far as I can tell. I am replacing the panneling with drywall and have a question about how to handle the inside corners where the new drywall meets the old. What is the best way to do these interior corners? If I tape them, i will have to mud and texture the existing drywall walls and you will see the old and new texturing on the same wall. I was hoping to avoid touching the existing walls. I really dont want to have to texture the entire room.
Thanks
