Installing a commercial door and the brick footing was loose so we poured a a concrete form to the flagstone foundation.

When service was added, they must of pounded a hole and the inside wall lost some bricks.

We were going to make a form and pour cement around the service and tuck point the rest with mortar. Does that sound reasonable?

Do you have enough room to raise the door another 1 1/2" so water would not run under the threshold?
Yes it’s a custom door and sits at least that high with an outward slope. My guy didn’t want to remove the brick but I said we need a good foundation because it’s a snowball effect.. It’s an old building and he said there’s no way you can keep the water out. I This is coming him, someone that has worked concrete. I think he’s happier with the footing now..

What I’m really curious about is can concrete be used in that space where bricks are for the service comes in?
