I purchased a house approx. 10 years ago and I just recently decided to take up the old carpet in one of my bedrooms. I found this horrendous paint splatter that goes around the entire room. Here is a picture:

Is there any way for me to remove it? It's been there for who knows how long. Also, I purchased a bottle of Mineral Spirits and scrubbed for a good 10 minutes with no luck.
