I have a large concrete front stairway which was completely covered in outdoor carpet by the previous owner. The guy who did the inspection for me said that is a big no-no for concrete, & it appears to have started to deteriorate in places already. The trouble is that whatever glue they used will probably hold until the next ice age!! I just can't figure out how to get this stuff off. Is there any type of glue solvent out there, or some sort of product which will help to remove it? ... Any ideas or input appreciated.

Thanks rusty & kyle,

I think the adhesive remover sounds less labour intensive (its a large carpeted area remember) Will give it a try when weather permits, cause that carpet has got to go. Not only does it look nasty but its also torn and a tripping hazard at this point. Wish me luck ...
