Hello friends. Merry Christmas!
My mother's mobile home developed a leak in the corner of the roof. I took some shingles off and discovered disintegrated osb sheathing. Then I realized that the water been running through the wall on the inside of the wall ruining the osb sheathing on the corner of the trailer (see attached pic). I took it off and repaired the bottom of the wall stud and one floor joist. I plan on using plywood instead of the osb on the corner. Originally there was some sort of paper between the insulation and the osb. It disintegrated and I wasn't able to find what brand/kind that was. The rest of the trailer has some sort of black felt under the vinyl siding, also visible on the image (above the ladder). The OSB was only in the corners of the trailer, I guess for the shear load bearing. Anyhow, can anyone please recommend what type of membrane should I put between the insulation and the plywood in the corners?
Attached is a picture of the project. At this point the corner is stripped down to the stud and inspected, I am ready to close it in.
Thank you for any advice.
Cheers!
