Sorry if this is a dumb question...
I'm building a shed with a framed floor of 2x10s. The joist hangers I bought recommend #9 x 2-1/2-in Strong-Drive SD screws. But if I only had a single rim joist, those screws would protrude out the other side. Luckily, I did double up on my rim/outside joists, so I can use the 2 1/2, but are they really needed or is the 1 1/2 sufficient?
Thanks.
