Hello all,
I've searched but have found nothing posted about repairing powered scooters that are popping up everywhere.
Yesterday I repaired one (we have two in family)
It had just completely stopped working. After checking that the twin twelve volt batteries were good I just started cleaning all the wiring connections. I found a soldered wire disconnected inside the "dash" - reattached it & the scooter is working again! (yippee)
The second unit (newer & required for very disabled person) is really acting up now.
It "beeps" but won't move.
Both batteries are new and good.
It'll sometimes work after turning on & off several times.
Very inconvenient. The rider (my brother) is unable to walk or even crawl so very dependent on this as his only way to move around the house so I really need to fix.
Any ideas where / what component to look at first?
Sorry so long - thanks for any pointers! (I'm not an electronics guy but willing to learn)
