Looking for a recommendation for a portable pool pump (sump pump concept) to place on in ground pool step during winter to be able to pump out water if level in pool rises too high from rain, snow, etc. (Used to use garden hose siphon concept; getting too old š) Only finding pumps for non-porous pool covers, to drain water from cover. My cover (loop lock) does not retain water on cover; it is porous. TIA for any help.
I am posting a pic of the pool for clarification. I am wanting to place the pump on the 2nd step so as to keep the level constant when covered during the winter. I have power close by.
