I developed my basement using staggered stud walls and resilient channel. As a result, I need jamb extensions for each door.
The prehung doors I bought have a bevelled edge around the inside. Should I plane this down before attaching the extensions? Or, is it common to attach the extension first and fill the gap with wood filler?
