The condition of this tub/shower surface is excellent, like new. There are no dings; no repairs are needed.
I've acquired Rustoleum's Marine paint, Topside, to do the job. A couple of YouTube videos recommend a primer after the thorough cleaning and sanding, but the Topside label says if the surface is in good condition, just clean, sand, and paint with the finish paint.
I didn't buy the primer because Lowe's wants $48 for a quart.
Any thoughts on just going directly with the paint, per the label?
