Anyone ever seen or used this adapter? I wonder how it works with the required gfci for appliances. Also wonder how a dryer works successfully on 120v on conductors sized for 240v amp draw. (Amps are doubled when volts are halved, right?)
A heat pump dryer needs a vent the same as a resistance heater dryer, unless there is a built in dehumidification device or condensation catcher together with a lint filter..
While dryer outputs have been successfully used to humidify the the interior in winter, doing so in summer can promote mold and rot.
