We recently bought a vessel sink/faucet for the powder room from a company called ATG (now changed name to "The MINE".

Got great service and a great price and great delivery, and learned they are owned by Lowes, but operated autonomously from Lowes, (but we paid taxes as Lowes has stores in the state.)

I wonder if free shipping now applies to them also.

Maybe it's something like a limited trial area. That is what a delivery costs me by there truck.

Although, if you are ordering enough, either in a load or a good customer, talk to the contractor desk, and they will make very favorable arrangements... on the next delivery in the area.

At least in my present area, Lowes is terrific.... i used to give 95% to HD, now 95% to Lowes.

The new free shipping policy for Lowes is for items that can be sent by UPS or FedEx.

That doesn't include things like drywall or 2x that are usually delivered by Lowes company truck.

I like Lowe's and have 2 stores within 12 miles, they are actually only 5 miles apart, BUT they will carry different products and NOT refer you to the other store. I had narrowed my selection of a shower stall to a particular brand and model but happened to be at the other store, didn't see it so asked. They didn't carry it was the answer. When i mentioned the other store had it on display and on sale they said they had no information on what the other store carried. Since then I have encountered several items where I had to check both stores and found it at one but not the other. Still like the store but really strange.

I may give in and become a member to get the free shipping (some items aren't carried at the stores), just wondering if I'll have to join at each store :).
