Hi;
I need to install a few cable clamps for my antenna feed line running along the house. The clamps need to be on brick or the mortar between bricks.
I bought a set of Tapcon Concrete anchors (with drill bit), but when I tried drilling a hole with the supplied bit, it barely touched the surface of either brick or mortar.
I used a standard (non-hammer) variable speed drill, and kept the speed low to prevent overheating the bit.
Tapcon recommends using a hammer drill, and I can see why.
Aside from buying a hammer drill, can anyone recommend a good masonry bit for non-hammer drill for brick and mortar?
Thanks
CP
