I have used LVP several times now but never in a kitchen. I have a house I would like to use LVP throughout. It would be much easier to put the floor down in the kitchen before the cabinets, dishwasher, range and refrigerator. Would I experience any problems if I do this?

That's the way I would do it.
A whole lot less cutting, faster, less likely to have subfloor damage if there's ever a leak.
If someone wants to remove it for some reason latter on it's simple enough to cut around it.

I would install the cupboards spaced up, so the flooring can go under the edge a little and still move.
Good luck with that. Installing the floor under floating cabinets will pose some additional challenges.
If you cut the floor within a 1/8 to a 1/4 inch of the cabinets before you install the toe kick material then the gap will be concealed by the toe kick.
When I installed my floor I made a boo boo and had more than a 1/4" gap on one end. I simply added another piece of 1/4" material behind the toe kick so it covered the gap.

The kick isn't the problem, its sides where the stove and fridge go.

install the LVP under the range and stove all the way to the wall. The stove and fridge are, in essence, "floating" and will not cause the flooring any undue stress. I placed my LVP under those appliances. It also makes it much easier to pull those appliances out for cleaning, etc.

I'm going to tap into this discussion - what about where a dishwasher would go? We are installing lvp in our kitchen and we're also updating cabinets so we can add a dishwasher (finally). Should we install the cabinets, then floor, then dishwasher?
