Large hole in concrete foundation around tub drain: what's the right thing to do?

Got to love plumbers... That one is bigger than normal but it appears that they might have had to move or fix the line. You can fill the area back in with concrete / dry set mortar but not around the pipe (say 6" x 6"). For some they will just fill it in with foam board & spray foam around the outside while others just leave it be
