i have a
KOHLER Bathroom Faucet, Bathroom Sink Faucet, Devonshire Collection, 2-Handle Widespread Faucet with Metal Drain, Polished Chrome, K-394-4-CP
The handle is broken/floppy loose at the top.
Picture of the broken handle.
The top handle bit is still attached base and I don't see how to remove it from the base.
Per the parts diagram (attached) it looks like the handle (what i am calling the top handle plus base, part 1304208** ) is screwed on to something Kohler calls an escutcheon nut (part 59425* ).
Unfortunately, the handle assembly ( parts 13004028 and 59425) seems solidly attached to the sink with some sort of cement (I'm guessing Loctite? given that is appears green) and i fear that parts 13004028 and 59425 may also be cemented together
...
This is a picture from below.
At a loss for how to fix. What to do next.
Also, unfortunately, looks like this sink has been discontinued.
I attached the Koehler PDF and handle part (1304208** ) is not for sale it seems.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
