Joint between chimney and wall

End the vinyl siding into "J", channel - "channel", against the bricks.
You can caulk between the bricks and the "J" channel -
"Quad", "Solar Seal", "Vulkem".
Don't caulk inside the "J" channel - ("channel to siding").
Make sure all surfaces are dry, clean, and frost-free - before you do any
caulking!
