Is it normal for marble to crack? shower

Hi,

I installed this panel in my shower last week. Last night I notice, there is a crack. I am not sure should i replace a new one or just seal it.

My wife want to replace a new one. She worry the water will cause more damage later on. Since the shower glass is not set on top yet, its easy to replace now. Cost around $350 to replace a new one.

any input are greatly appreciated!

It cracked because it wasn't supported properly. Either there was a void in the thinset or the base below it was uneven [maybe both] Does the liner extend under the threshold?

is 2" above the shower floor and the shower glass will set on top of the marble.

$350 for that? HS! I'd replace them both with something cheaper.
