Am getting ready to start building a new house out in the country.
The electric co-op will trench in high voltage line to the rear side of the house, where it will be cut to 240v in a ground mount transformer. After the walls are up, they will return and trench in the 240 primary to a meter on the house and we will hook up the rest.
Is there code on proximity of the high-voltage ground mount transformer to the house? Any suggestions for aesthetics or safety?
Thanks,
Greg
